Prof Dr Nazım Cerkes was appointed as the President of the International Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons Association ISAPS on September 5, 2020, where he has been performing at various management duties since 2010.

The presidential handover ceremony, which was planned to be held in Vienna for the largest participating aesthetic plastic surgery association, which has over five thousand members worldwide, has to be held online due to the Corona virus pandemic that affected the world. Prof Dr Nazim Cerkeşs took over the torch from the previous president, Dirk Richter, during the ceremony which was followed by more than 2000 association members online.

ISAPS organizes congresses to increase the knowledge of surgeons on aesthetic surgeries of which millions of people, men and women of all ages around the world are increasingly interested. The most experienced plastic surgeons in their fields give conferences in which they explain the surgical techniques they have applied, and perform operations on selected patients in live surgery courses organized from time to time.

Prof Dr Nazim Cerkes had been appointed as the Chair of the Education Committee in 2010 at the association, headquartered in the USA. He had given numerous speeches in the important organizations of the association in 10 years and was finally appointed as the President in September 2020.
